As a norm, most bikes have 3500 miles or 4800 Km service intervals (or 6 monthly - which ever comes sooner)
What is included
With all of our fixed rate motorcycle servicing schedules we include the cost of spark plugs. In many cases it is the manufacturers recommendation that these are simply checked and cleaned. With the experience that we have had with running our Dyno, it is a fact that a visual check on these parts actually means little or nothing. We therefore have taken the approach that as a schedule of preventative maintenance, we simply replace these as a service item.
Dependent on mileage, valve clearances may need to be checked. We allow an extra 2 hours to check these, but cannot quote for adjustment until we are aware of what needs to be adjusted.
Additional costs involved if adjustments are required can be up to a further 2 hours and will in the case of shim adjusted valves bear an additional cost of parts, ie £6 per shim.
Woodash workshop labour rates are £35.00 + vat per hour
